NATURE RESERVE CODE

Škocjanski zatok Nature Reserve provides habitat for numerous animal and plant species. For their sake, we ask you to observe the following rules:
-  Explore the reserve on foot.
- Keep to the laid-out footpaths and do not attempt to climb onto screening embankments. Bird hides have been built at key locations within the reserve to enable you to observe wildlife without fear of scaring the birds away or preventing other visitors from observing the wildlife of the reserve.
-  Make no unnecessary noise as it bothers the birds as well as other visitors.
-  Take your litter home with you.
-  Remember that by doing nothing else but observing the animals and plants, you are actually protecting them.
-  Please keep you dog controlled on a leash to avoid harassment of wildlife.
